Hot new venture: baking classes

Welcome to our new season, it has kicked off really well! We have seen lots of people from Scilly and lots of visitors and we are really pleased to see you all. The first few days were really hard work – I had all thumbs and no fingers! – but we didn’t spill anything on anyone and now , a week later, things are flowing much more easily.

Getting the bunting out in the family room, which will house our first guests of the year!

It’s the first day of March! It’s two weeks to our opening date! Two weeks on Monday the Scillonian III will make its first trip of the year. All over the islands Scilly businesses are coming out of winter hibernation and throwing open their doors to spring – some are open already, others like us are opening soon! It’s exciting seeing St Mary’s and the off-islands gearing up for the new season – spring is in the air! . Summer pictures, barbecues, local produce – it’s all coming along.
